Our two guest rooms are on the first floor and both have south facing views. As experienced guests ourselves in hundreds of rooms over the years, there was no doubt in our minds during renovations, about the priorities of room facilities we wanted for our guests; very comfortable beds and great bathrooms.
To give our guests extra space and comfort, the two rooms are divided by what we call ‘The Reading Room’. In here, you’ll find a selection of complimentary refreshments including tea and coffee that you can enjoy from this room, while still in your bathrobe or take into your bedroom.
There is free wi-fi and an abundance of nature to enjoy around the grounds.
Exclusive to La Pommeraie guests, The Reading Room is an extra space right next door to your room where you can sit and relax. There’s a selection of books and magazines to enjoy. And more. It’s also where, throughout your stay you’ll always find a little treat. There’s an endless supply of Tea and coffee as well as complimentary delights and cold beverages.
10 minutes drive away from us, is the historic town of Domfront-en-Poiraie where there’s a choice of bars, cafés and restaurants. If you prefer, we invite you to join us for evening meals from a set menu and you can choose to eat in the garden or in the salon.
Do let us know when booking your room so that we know how many for dinner and also if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies.
Evening Meals at La Pommeraie are available on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
On Tuesdays and Fridays our Charcuterie boards are available for €25 per person based on two people sharing.
Taking inspiration from the Mediterranean, Spain, Italy, Israel and of course from Normandy, dinner is at 8pm, prepared in house by our resident trained chef the very talented chef Monsieur Craig himself. Evening meal costs €45 per person for a starter, main course, cheese course and dessert.
We are licensed to serve wine, beers and spirits to our guests. We have a great selection to choose from including, from local distillery Comte Louis De Lauriston, Cinder & Poirés, Pommeau and Calvados.
